Q & A / Best paint brands
« on: August 13, 2017, 07:35:40 AM »
What's your favourite paint to airbrush with? for me it's Mr Hobby/Tamiya for acrylics and enamel and Gaianotes (my god the colours) for laquer.I tried Vellejo acrylics but they suck bad,for instance they are supposedly pre thinned but are still too thick and turn to a thick goo when thinned (I may have done it wrong) and I will never use them again in all honesty because they are a pain and clog my airbrush and the finish is bad as well.Anyway any feedback would be appreciated as there a lot of brands I haven't tried yet and would like peoples opinions on them cheers.

Works in Progress / Infinite Justice
« on: December 08, 2016, 12:25:31 AM »
Another old one done with cans about 4 years ago before I bought an airbrush etc,I didn't even paint the frame :o.This one uses the resin conversion kit which wasn't too bad except for the head and arm pieces which I didn't use and no matter how much resin I removed the feet didn't fit properly.

And like the Sinanju I will airbrush and detail another Infinite Justice (I have one waiting to be built) once I get around to it,probably in another 4 years :'( :'(

I have been building this thing on and off for about 4 years :-\ that's why it's painted with cans (I've since bought several airbrushes). I only have the shield and fuel tanks to go but have building heaps of other kits and forgetting about this one.My skills have improved a lot since first starting this kit so I might buy another one and airbrush, detail it properly next time but I still need to finish this first (It haunts my dreams) :o

Random Chats / So what did you do today?

Just thought I would add a topic about everyday stuff like THIS:Today I noticed my local hobby shop included some Gundam into their catalogue (I'm friendly with the owner and said they would sell like hot cakes  ::)) he's sold nearly all of them and gave me a huge discount for giving him good advice which was nice of him although the only reason I told him was to be able to buy Gundam closer to home  ;D.That and I seen a goat chase an old lady down the street and had to tell someone HA!
