Q & A / Re: Dragon Momoko question

Ah, yes it's interesting how this has erupted in a tide of social media battles over this very subject. Personally I am with most of you, and with most of the community I expect. Yep, it's sad they're gone, it was (I suppose) an inevitable action from Bandai, and it's very likely another company will spring up in it's place. I certainly felt that DM's quality was improving although some designs where a little overly detailed.

The question is, will this take-down be incentive enough to stop others from doing the same? I kind of hope not.

Welcome to the Mecha Lounge old chap and a great story of how you arrived back into the hobby at a different angle :) You're most certainly not ever too old to build and we look forward to looking at what you can do :)

ha! awesome. The tiny fence is adorable. Action scenes are hard to do right, looks like your direction is a good one.

Just looking to order some paints etc and having a look online for tutorials and tips.

There is some much expert advise around, it looks like this hobby has some die hard and talented members.

I am not currently debating on converting my garden shed into a small hobby room.

Do it!

wow very nice work, I really like the details you've picked out in the more mechanical parts, and the panel lines are super sharp. Nice wear and tear effect too. Simple and effective colour scheme too. Thanks for sharing!

Great designs, I like the depth you managed to acheive on the visors too. Nice little details catching my eye too.

Nice, very unique! A proper brawler Zaku. Colour choices and weathering are nicely done - the bullet hole in the skirt is a nice touch. Fist blades are a good touch too. Decal work is fantastic, canít spot a single edge or silver - whatís the secret!? I feel like something is missing from the right shoulder where the hole is. Panel lining is pretty non existent - however I donít think it actually needs it. Swords are acceptably brutish. Great concept all around and very well presented. Thanks for your entry!

Fantastic colour choices, and a really well thought through concept. Paintwork is sharp, detailing is good and the modifications really fit the idea. Enjoying the Ďbracerí pistons on the thighs, assuming these are to help support the MS in firing mode. The small scuffs and dirt patches are a good touch. The cables where I think work fine on this kit, just stick out os being electrical wires. I think this is just my brain so donít take this as legitimate criticism. I like how you mounted the rifle on the forearm, and the large shoulder guns look pretty natural - although I would have bore out the barrels to have proper deep holes. Really great work, thanks for entering!

Very nice shimmering paintwork with some well placed blue accents, really easy on the eye with enough contrast to make you take a second look on each image. Very nicely detailed, especially enjoying the thruster work on the legs. Well executed íspace typeí concept all round but perhaps could be a little more unique? No modelling criticisms that are anything more than nipticky for me, just smashing stuff and thank you for entering!

ah, great concept! Not often seen an north african GM variant. Nice environmental-appropriate sand and dust weathering. Enjoying the ominous glow behaving the visor too. Enjoying the small additional detailing work, especially on the tops of the shoulders. Some detail looks a little soft - but I think this adds to the Ďconstantly in useí look. Really like the markings too. My only criticism is those gaps in the shins, but I think I can put this down to subjectivity as it could be interpreted
as a detail. Great work, thank you for entering :)

Photoís are not really adequate to be honest, but iíll try my best to give some feedback. Itís very clean, I have built this kit too and it looks pretty much like it does out of the box. Some nice paint apps to bring out a little more detail. I can spot a few seam lines here and there and those horrific holes on the backs of the shield arms are very visible, one of the let downs with this kit but it can be fixed. Thanks for your entry!
