Decided to make a Zaku F2 sniper Type, using SB and the Sniper rifle from GM K9.. The story of this MS: as Zeon force strugle more and more with resource lack-age, and needin a unit for support they recur to the  cannibalize a damaged GM sniper and merge it with an Zaku F2. They use the right arm of the GM on the zaku, in order to be able to use the earth forces beam weaponry, and also using the GM reactor (witch is was restored to working condition) by caring the GM torso as a portable power supply. The stock of the sniper rifle was modified in order to fit the zaku/zeon MS types.  The optics of the F2 were also ugraded in order to better fulfill its new role as a sniper. (... to be continued ... ) - so this story also explains the mods and the concept behind my build, more to be added as it projects advances.
Decided to SB the GM arm to fit on the right lower arm of the Zaku, and as all my tryouts the first one was a little to big for may taste and decided to trim it down a little:

so far the Zaku looks like this:

Scratch Building / Re: Making Mold with Oyumaru
« on: June 04, 2017, 07:17:57 PM »
i have done something similar with plumbers putty (used to patch pipes), after a old tip from  Whitebase:
cold putty casting process
1- Imprint the part in putty and let it cure (20 min since i use an industrial grade putty that cures in 10 min :P )
2- Resulted mold
3- New putty layer (the mold was oiled with normal cooking oil so it won't bond with the putty used for recast)
4- Cast Result
5- The part i needed after some trimming and filling
