Get it well insulated first, then build yourself a nice big spray booth, then you will have to figure out were your going to display your builds.

Do it and have fun, I wish I could have a full room for my own use.

Just looking to order some paints etc and having a look online for tutorials and tips.

There is some much expert advise around, it looks like this hobby has some die hard and talented members.

I am not currently debating on converting my garden shed into a small hobby room.

Do it!

wow very nice work, I really like the details you've picked out in the more mechanical parts, and the panel lines are super sharp. Nice wear and tear effect too. Simple and effective colour scheme too. Thanks for sharing!

Great designs, I like the depth you managed to acheive on the visors too. Nice little details catching my eye too.

That is very cool work relay like the high contrast painting used, and congratulations on the GBWC placing.

Hey! It's been a too long since my last share here! I know I've posted this on several social media groups, but in the odd chance that some of you aren't on facebook, allow me to share it here as well. This is my entry for the GBWC 2017 Philippine leg, entitled "The Legend of Kitsune". Please enjoy!

and some shots of just the mecha...

The entry finished somewhere in the top 8 and received a small consolation prize, and this being my first attempt at the GBWC, I think it's a pretty good start! Kitsune is a kitbash of the FM Barbatos Lupus and HG Hashmal, with some Lupus Rex parts thrown in. If you want to know more you can see the full build diary here:
http://otakuonabudget.blogspot.com/2017/10/kitsune-build-diary.html

And if you want to know what is going on in the diorama, I wrote a fanfiction that leads up to the scene here:

Comments are most welcome!

A small change to HG Zaku but one that make the shield a bit more interesting. I cut down the active Heat Hawk to make it inactive and made a small mount on the shield, also extended the bottom of by 2mm.

I love it,the custom rifle looks great and the choice of colours are excellent, overall top work. P.S. how was the quality of the resin conversion?

Thank you very much.
The resin kit was very very good a lot better than I expected and the fit was quite good, there were a few parts that needed some help but no where near as bad as I thought. I plan on getting the MG GM cannon kit from SIDE3 next.
