Mg Psycho Zaku
« on: March 23, 2017, 09:25:59 AM »
Ok my latest build. I put it off while I got a few bits organised but I'm ready to start. Going to add a few metal power cables and shoulder spikes. Trying to come up with an alternative for the bin bags around the limb joints, any suggestions welcome, so far all that comes close to working is a washed, dried and coloured baby wipe. This is thin enough to go around the joints but robust enough to not rip. I'm not sticking with standard colours as I'm thinking a veteran suit that has had a refit and nice shinny paint. So far I've denubbed and put all the thrusters and verniers on tape ready to paint, then onto the weapons. Get the tedious jobs out of the way so I can really enjoy the rest of the process. I a few other ideas brewing and I'll post as I get them done.

For now see what took what seemed like days to do.

So so many. Ok a few spares but that's Incase I stuff up some painting

WIP #2

Been working on two extra shields to be held by the backpack arms, like the Gundam.

First couple of attempts were not good. The first I was trying to use the sinanju skirt armour inner frame parts but it looked crap and awkward. Next attempt it was too bulky and didn't fit in with the original. But it all started to click into place. Looked through my parts bin and found a few detail parts. Have the shields glued and the detail parts tacked in place. Next up is putty and sanding and on to the sleeves and chest piece. Also did some test paint.
