HG GM Type C
« on: April 16, 2017, 08:07:55 AM »
After some deliberation I've finally settled on a GM Type C as my base.

After a bit of procrastination I've got it snapped up.

Ok so procrastination seems to be my MO. I've let a lot of build time slip past me on this project. Now I wasn't just lazy I have been steadily working on projects. Just not Gunpla. So on to getting this project under way. I work better under the gun anyway.

So all that said I did get some work done today.

Removed the bar from the right shoulder.

And beefed up the antenna.

Not much but it's a start. Hope to get more updates soon.

Finally got some time to do some work (darn work getting the way) after far too long I've got a rough fit for a shoulder cannon.

Decided I couldn't leave the other shoulder bare so I added another cannon.

Ok decided to build an assault pod for the left arm. It's just roughed out at the moment. Need to add details and plan on adding a missile pod as well.

Nice mods, I thought it was an MG GM.

Thanks! And just an HG. I've finished the mods now (well as finished as time will allow at this point) and moved on to painting. That said just finished priming!

I plan on trying some new techniques with this model well see hiw it turns out.

Down to the wire here. Very close to done with the painting, just some color apps to finish then top coat. Honestly not sure if I'm happy with it but I'll try and get it done. The painting has given me problems. Tryed to do more of the painting with a brush then I would normally have. Not an experiment that was entirely successful but it turned out ok.
