I have made a start and the first few thing i have done it some good old kit bashing that required some reworking of the older kit.

Here is what i have done, long way to go but im happy so far.

Had to cut and drill out the old pegs in the knees and elbows to take the poly cap from the HG kit as well.

i have been performing major surgery on the two GM kits and it was very scary stuff.

I still have a long way to go before all the mods are done but now i have most of the major cutting i now need to start the shutting.

So after a full week off building anything ( i was on holiday) its time to get cracking at this again, first up is the leg extension so he doesn't look so squot.

Cut of the top 4mm of the upper legs that i thought i had finished with glued in some pla plate and now im on with reshaping ready to fit the top section back on.

Looking nice so far. Can't wait to see what else you plan to do with it.
Going to have to pick up one of these kits myself later for my collection.

Cheers we do seem to be blazing the trail we are WIP threads.

I started putting the lower legs to gether, there was some big gaps to fill and lots of sanding, just making sure the proportions still look ok after the leg and torso extensions, I'm happy with it but the neck night need 0.5mm comming off it.

Added some paint to the legs, so Im happy with the tan colour and they have had a first pass at weathering them, chipping next for those parts but Im not sure about the red/brown colour at the moment.
